Clear Aligners
Straight teeth benefit our oral health across many aspects such as confidence and esthetics, oral hygiene and home care, function and speech, tooth placement for veneers or other restorations, and maintaining the bone within our jaws. Orthodontic care, which helps in these considerations, has come a long way from the metal wires and brackets. Today, we can at times achieve the same results using a set of clear aligners that sit over the teeth without the concern of showing any metal materials. At our office, we utilize Invisalign so we give the patients the best aligners possible.
With any orthodontic care, close and mindful monitoring should be the top priority, as moving teeth around bone can be challenging and case sensitive. Today, there are many options for choosing a third party at-home clear aligner. Please note that it is best practice to consult your dentist before starting a regiment with at-home orthodontics as the third party entity will not provide any hands on care during the treatment they are delivering.
Orthodontic Screenings
Having two sets of teeth plays a significant role in the way our jaws grow and tooth placement as they come in. Tracking these factors will ensure proper treatment interventions when indicated and help improve other components such as our airways and facial development.
